Our collaboration with Spruced aimed to spotlight the app's innovative solution for both the spa industry and its consumers.

Spruced set out to transform the spa industry by connecting consumers with last-minute spa appointments at discounted rates. Their platform provided a win-win situation: spas could fill their schedules, and clients could enjoy premium spa services at wallet-friendly prices. In the early stages of funding, Spruced's primary focus was to promote local spas within their headquartered area in San Diego County.

As a trusted publisher specializing in consumer reviews of budget-friendly products and services in fashion, beauty, and women's lifestyle, PowHer Media’s The Baller on a Budget was the perfect partner for Spruced.

Our collaboration with Spruced encompassed two key elements:

Sponsored Consumer Review

We experienced the app firsthand and crafted a comprehensive consumer review. This review showcased the user-friendliness, convenience, and cost-effectiveness of the Spruced app while employing SEO strategies to target local audiences and rank higher in specific searches.

Promotional Imagery

In addition to the review, we created promotional images. These visuals played a crucial role in Spruced's advertising campaigns, capturing the essence of their platform and enticing potential users.

HOW WE DID IT

Owned Niche Search Themes

Their aim was to rank higher in search results for the coveted search phrases "San Diego spa” and “cheap spa near San Diego.” With a finite amount of search volume, we published editorial content using those search phrases, eventually jumping to the first page of both search phrase results. Our sponsored content was responsible for driving 28% of app downloads directly through the links on our website.

We also suggested to run an exclusive 20% off discount on the prospect’s first service booked through the app if they used the affiliate link on our website.

By tailoring our content to the local market, we helped Spruced position itself as the go-to platform for spa enthusiasts seeking affordable luxury spa services in San Diego County.
